Almost a year ago he read the Fellowship Applicant Guide, and was overwhelmed by the eligibility requirements to apply to become a Fellow. You need to be able to provide evidence to demonstrate four out of twelve characteristics, categorised into Champion, Expert, Influencer and Role Model which was intimidating to say the least.
At Diafora we promote membership of the Institution, we have an RICS Development Manager and provide full support to all our staff to become Chartered (Quantity) Surveyors.
Throughout his career he has always strived to lead by example, so naturally, becoming a Fellow was the next step in promoting and reinforcing the positive message of the RICS within Diafora Ltd and the Industry.
After many months of painfully progressing the Fellowship application and with the welcomed support of Gordon Smith (MRICS MCInstCES MCIArb), Phil was thrilled to receive confirmation from the RICS that his application was successful.
