Senior Planning Consultant

Degree-educated, you’ll have a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience. Experienced and passionate, you will have a solid background in pre and post-contract project planning using Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6 software.

You’ll be experienced in either the civil, building or process sectors. You’ll be experienced in delay analysis and have well-developed client-facing skills. Outstanding time management, excellent IT and report writing skills are also required.

The candidate must have the ability and willingness to assist in coaching and developing the Planning team. Working as a Senior Consultant in a Planning / Delay role providing services across a range of sectors for a variety of clients.

The role includes project planning, project control and retrospective delay analysis services across the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Managing a Portfolio of Clients and Projects.
Leading multi-disciplinary teams, reviewing and reporting on all aspects of projects.
Acting as a role model and mentor to other Diafora employees through training, development and performance management.
Authoring, editing, and preparing client reports as well as reviewing commercial situations and advising clients accordingly.
Providing support to Colleagues and Directors.
Promoting oneself with professional institutions.
Being involved with mentoring and developing the construction professionals of the future.
Supporting Diafora Business Development initiatives and events.
